Andrew Patsalou was born in 1950, and his artistic talent began to express itself at a very early age. He sold his first painting when he was only 14 years of age. He held his first sellout exhibition at the age of 16, and has exhibited his work ever since in numerous galleries. Andrew studied fine arts at East Sydney College from 1966 to 1969.  Andrew is a multi-award-winning Australian artist and his work is exhibited in galleries around the world.

Andrew has always had a fascination with the living world, and creates his paintings with a romantic flair. At Sydney Galleries we are proud to introduce his most recent body of work – the “Swan Lake” series – an exploration of dance, passion, beauty, and romance, expressed through the elegant visual imagery of ballet and the spirit of the graceful swan.
